- Description:
- This package is built for the Universal Render Pipeline (URP) and is compatible with Single Pass Multiview VR. It provides easy-to-use planar reflections that can reflect each other recursively, allowing for complex mirror-like effects. The package is also suitable for non-VR projects, including desktop and mobile applications.
The package includes a fully working scene preview and allows for easy modification of Shadergraph materials. The shaders support refraction, which can be animated for creative effects. Recursive occlusion culling is used to ensure optimal performance.
The package includes a new V2 shader that closely mirrors the functionality of the URP Lit material, with support for box-projected reflection probes and real-time planar reflections. Performance can be tweaked by adjusting resolution, layermask, AA, and blend settings.
The package has been tested on various VR devices, including Oculus Quest 1, 2, 3, and Pro, Pico 4, Valve Index, and Vive, as well as on desktop and mobile platforms. It supports forward and deferred rendering.
For a detailed compatibility list and instructions, please refer to the documentation. The package includes C# scripts and a ShaderGraph shader that can be easily modified to suit specific needs. - Technical Details:
- All scripts are written in C# and the shader is built in ShaderGraph, allowing for easy modification and customization. The package does not include any DLLs, and the textures used in the demo are provided for reference only.
