- Description:
- Palette Fusion Pro compresses and fuses solid texture color palettes into a single texture/material, reducing project size and improving performance. It preserves emissions and metallic-reflections information, making it ideal for low-poly models. The tool offers absolute efficiency by palette reconstruction, discarding unused regions of the palette-texture. It also features compression history mode, automatic recognition of previously compressed models, unpack prefab mode, and advance mass referencing mode. Palette Fusion Pro is compatible with BiRP Standard Shader, URP Lit Shader, and custom shaders in BiRP. It has been tested on all Unity 2021+ LTS versions and will be updated to meet future LTS releases. The tool is designed for solid color palettes and does not work with gradient colors, color patterns, or submeshes. It has a limit of 16,000,000 unique color regions and does not compress materials without a palette texture or main texture. The tool is available as a DLL-plugin and has an active community for Q&A, bug reporting, and support.
