- This package is a module-based component that enables the simulation of various water surfaces such as oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, pools, etc. It's designed for PC/console platforms and is only compatible with the standard built-in rendering. It requires compute shaders support. The water rendering employs a physical approximation for lighting and wave simulation, based on real-world parameters such as wind speed, turbidity, transparency, etc. The package includes features such as GPU waves simulation, physical approximation of lighting, reflections, refraction, caustics, underwater effects, decals, trails, and more. It also includes a decal system, trails, intersection and open ocean foam, shoreline foam waves rendering, flow rendering, fluids simulation, river system, buoyancy, dynamic ripples, rain effect, and various meshes. The package is optimized for multiple water instances rendering, has a lod system with dynamic mesh quality and culling using QuadTree, and supports tessellation, writing to depth buffer, and fog compatibility. It also supports VR and has a public roadmap and support channel.
